Mrs. Ruble has been teaching the art of ballet since 1990. She has taught for the Lexington Ballet, Greensboro Ballet, Green Hills School of Dance and Tri-Star Gymnastics. Her professional background began in the early 1980’s as a Soloist with the Lexington Ballet. She has a B.A. in Arts Administration and a Minor in Dance Education from the University of Kentucky where she received an award for outstanding Dance Minor.
While teaching at the Greensboro Ballet, she was the Director and Co-Founder of the Greensboro Ballet III. As a Soloist with the Lexington Ballet, she performed such outstanding roles as Snow Queen, Dew Drop Fairy and Clara in the Nutcracker Ballet and was a featured dancer in Sleeping Beauty with the Greensboro Ballet Company. She performed in several Community Theatre productions in Greensboro to include Chorus Line, Joseph & His Amazing Color Dream Coat as well as Funny Girl. Mrs. Deborah, as her students fondly refer to her, resides in Nolensville with her husband, Drew and her two daughters Aly and Zoey. |
